QUICK REFERENCE SECTION

REDUCING HARDNESS
Water change with De-ionized or Reverse Osmosis (soft / acidic) water.
Refer to 'HOW DO I' section 1. Page 8.

INCREASE HARDNESS
Use a Freshwater mineral additive product for all three values (PH, KH & GH)
Use Sodium Bicarbonate for PH & KH
Use Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate B.P.) for GH
Refer to 'HOW DO I' section 2. Page 9.

LOWER THE PH
Same as Reducing Hardness above.
Refer to 'HOW DO I' section 1. Page 8.

INCREASING THE PH
Same as Increasing Hardness above.
Refer to 'HOW DO I' section 2. Page 9.

LOWERING NITRATES
Water change using water that has a lower Nitrate content than that of your tank. Our Pre made water is ideal for this use as it has had all the Nitrate removed.

OBTAINING ZERO READINGS OF NITRITE & AMMONIA
Be sure the Bio filter is matured to start with, DON'T over feed, DON'T over stock,
DO Regular water changes and tank maintenance.
